Wishing to bring the 'art de vivre à la française' (French art of living) to Dallas, we have designed a classic Parisian style capsule. 

Our timeless white dress with soft blue smocks is perfect for heirloom portraits and photographies. White highlights children's innocence and delicate features.

The beauty of our blue dress lies in its details. The pink rosebud embroideries on the sleeves are the ultimate sophisticated final touch making all the difference.

Our pastel pink dress is an ode to our love of the City of Lights. If you look carefully you will notice that the pink flower smocks form mini Eiffel Towers.

Last but not least, our dresses are fully lined with an openwork petticoat ensuring a perfect twirl factor.

The Hip Hip Hooray Boutique

Hip Hip Hooray is Dallas’ premier classic children’s clothing boutique. Established in 1999, by designer Jennifer Howell, it has been family owned and run by three generations. Together with her sister, Janel, the two carefully curate a lovely selection of exclusive offerings. 

While it offers beautiful clothing to precious children, Hip Hip Hooray is more than a boutique. It is a community where customers become family. A place providing exquisite, hand crafted pieces for life’s most meaningful milestones.

It is a gift to witness children grow before our eyes, from helping their mothers choose their take home outfits to watching their eyes go wide as they spot the perfect dress for their first day of school. Exclamations of “I look like a princess” as she twirls in their new flower girl dress or the glimmer in his eyes when he slips into a fresh pair of loafers and remarks “They look like my dads!” 

These children are more than customers. As they grow, we provide age appropriate and timeless options into their early adolescents. We are driven by our belief in the magic of childhood and our desire to let it linger as long as it can. 

Sally Gates

Sally Gates, is one of the premier pastel portrait painters in America today. She travels all over America to photograph and then paint children dressed in traditional outfits. We had the immense honor of meeting her several times in our Parisian boutique and the great privilege of dressing her granddaughter for her official portrait.

Dallas holds a special place in the heart. She no longer counts the number of her portraits hanging in Dallas homes. She visits the city at least once a year if not more. It has been her top city for commissions since the 2000. It was Dallas which allowed her to gain national awareness.

It thus felt only natural to ask Sally to be our ambassador for this special event.
